Jacksonville improved to 2-2 in 6A-East Conference play with a twin killing in its truest form of the phrase.

The Red Devils got 3 RBI from Caleb Mitchell in their 13-0 rout of Little Rock Hall in the first game on Tuesday at Dupree Park.

Seth Tomboli struck out 13 in the game and allowed only three infield singles.

Michael Lamb fanned nine Warriors in Jacksonville’s 13-1 win in the nightcap.

Jacksonville improved to 5-5 overall and took on Little Rock Central in a non-conference game last night after Leader deadlines.

In the opener, Patrick Castleberry led the way with three hits, while Terrell Brown, Tommy Sanders and Logan Perry each collected two.

Brown homered in the nightcap, while Nick Rodriguez drove in a pair of runs with two hits and Sanders had a three-run triple.
