The 20th annual Christmas Road to Bethlehem will be open from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Sunday until New Year’s Eve. Homes along a four-mile stretch of Bethlehem Road in Lonoke County will feature lighted, life-size Biblical figures along with Bible verses to tell the story of the nativity and ends with the manger scene at Bethlehem United Methodist Church. There will be open house programs with music and fellowship from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Dec. 11 through Jan. 1.
The second annual Christmas for Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Lonoke County will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Marlsgate Plantation in Scott. The theme is “Fruit, Feather and Fantasy.” Tickets are $50 each and include lunch, entertainment and tour. There will also be a silent auction.

The first Trail of Trees auction will be held at noon Tuesday at the Rebsamen Medical Center Education Building. There will be 30 beautifully decorated 4.5-foot-tall Christmas trees to bid on. All funds go to support the Rebsamen Medical Center Auxiliary.
Friday, Dec. 8 is the deadline for needy families to apply for Christmas assistance from the Jacksonville Care Channel. Applicants must be Jacksonville residents and must be income qualified.
Donations of canned goods and new toys are needed before Wednesday, Dec. 13 to fill holiday baskets for needy families. The Care Channel will distribute baskets of food and toys on Wednesday, Dec. 20. Applications may be completed from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday at the Care Channel, 201 Elm St.

The Pulaski Technical College Choir will perform a medley of traditional holiday carols in its first full-length concert on Thursday, Dec. 7. The hour-long holiday concert begins at 7:30 p.m. in the R.J. Wills Lecture Hall in the Campus Center, located at 3000 West Scenic Drive in North Little Rock. The concert is free and open to the public. The choir’s repertoire will include songs in English, Latin and Spanish. Prior to the choir concert, the Geyer Springs First Baptist Church handbells choir will perform at 7 p.m. near the Campus Center Food Court.
