willie harshaw
Willie Ann Harshaw, 92, of Ward was born July 4, 1918, at Hickory Plains to Edmond and Cora Easterlee Tillcree Ford. She died Jan. 24. 

She is survived by her son, A. L. Harshaw, and her daughter, Mae Dickson, both of Beebe; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Archie Harshaw Sr.; a son, James Harshaw, and a daughter, Naomi Thompson.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 29 at Westbrook Funeral Home, with burial in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.

Arrangements are by Westbrook Funeral Home in Beebe.

Debra Woodyard
Debra Lucille Woodyard, 44, of Cabot passed away Jan. 25.

She was born July 15, 1966, in Little Rock to James Ray Ewing and Martha Jenkins Ewing.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Alan Woodyard; two children, Mark Woodyard and Laura Woodyard, three brothers, Thomas Ezell, John Ray Ewing and James Timothy Ewing; and sisters, Martha Ann Biggerstaff and Sherry Gavin.

She is also survived by two grandchildren, Zachary Woodyard and Ethan Hinkle.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 29 at Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home with Pastor Roy Edwards officiating. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Park.

amanda ruddell
Amanda Ruddell, 75, of Jacksonville passed away Jan. 28 at her home.  

She was born Sept. 30, 1935, in Germany to the late Art Jung and Emma.

She formerly worked for Siemens in Germany and Maybelline in North Little Rock. Later she became a full-time military wife. She loved their last assignment in Japan for three years.

She was a devoted Catholic. She was an avid animal lover and could not resist giving a home to a stray cat or dog. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include her husband, Chester B. Ruddell; her daughters, Andrea and Martina; her sister, Leni, and her grandson, Christian, all of Germany.

The funeral will be at noon Tuesday, Feb. 1 at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock with Father Andy Smith officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
